A homage to the
Bayeux Tapestry

A sombre day in the year 1066. Two soldiers stand over their fallen King as the Battle of Hastings halts to an end. Harold II’s death marks the end of Anglo-Saxon rule over England and the beginning of Norman reign. – An homage to the Bayeux Tapestry.

A reinterpretation of the number 14 pays tribute to the historic Bayeux Tapestry and the tragic day of October 14th. The characters are illustrated to form the number 14, representing the date of the event. Designed in contribution to Fedrigoni 365 calendar, 2019.
